WELLNESS EXAMS
Regular wellness exams allow us to make sure your pet is healthy and catch any issues early.
MICROCHIPPING
Make sure your pet can be identified should he or she be away from you.
VACCINATIONS
We follow the guidelines set by AAHA and AAFP and consider your pet's health and lifestyle to set up an individual vaccine schedule.
MEDICINE
Care is provided for minor illnesses, allergies, and skin issues. Referral is available for those cases requiring more intensive care.
EMERGENCY CARE

SURGERY/DENTAL
Surgical procedures will be referred to a partner hospital. Dr. Byrd will discuss each on a case-by-case basis.
Hospice Care and Euthanasia
We can help your pet remain as comfortable as possible in their final days and provide loving end of life care in the comfort of your home. Contact us to discuss euthanasia arrangements and appointments.

ABOUT
OUR PRACTICE
Socks and Co. is a mobile practice providing care to the pets of the Triangle and surrounding areas. Dr. Erin Byrd has been caring for pets in the area since 2012 and is excited to provide the comfort and convenience of house calls. She truly enjoys the wellness aspect of veterinary care, and teaming up with the great network of specialists in the area to provide the best care possible.
Dr. Byrd was born in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in Poland, OH. She headed south to Clemson for undergrad then to LSU for veterinary school. She has practiced in Charleston, SC, Greensboro, NC, and Fayetteville, NC. You can find her cheering on Clemson and the Steelers during football season, wandering around taking mobile pictures, or traveling somewhere fun. At home you'll find her with her husband, Aaron, Jack Russell, Glinda, and the Boss Cat, Socks.
Our namesake, Socks, has been a clinic cat her whole life and DEMANDED to follow Dr. Byrd to Raleigh from Fayetteville. She keeps Dr. Byrd in line and often gives her opinions on life which can be seen on Instagram at #sockssaysno. She is also a big fan of chasing laser pointers and bossing Glinda around.
